Biden nominates ambassador to Ukraine after nearly 3 year vacancy.

U.S. President Joe Biden nominates Bridget Brink as new U.S. ambassador to Ukraine. There has not been a Ukraine ambassador since former President Donald Trump removed Marie Yovanovitch from the post in 2019. Brink is the current ambassador to Slovakia and has over 25 years of diplomatic experience including her work in the State Department.
