Ukrgasbank posts record $102 million profit in first 10 months of 2021

The number is four times higher than the bank’s earnings in the same period of last year, state-owned Ukrgasbank announced on Nov. 15. This is the bank’s most profitable year on record.

Banks around the world have seen windfall profits in 2021 as consumer spending increased and economies bounced back from the 2020 crash caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
