Ukraine strikes Russia's Ilsky oil refinery, causing fire, General Staff confirms
Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces said the strike on the oil refinery, located approximately 400 kilometers (250 miles) from where the Ukrainian drones were launched, was carried out by the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the 414th Separate Brigade, known as "Madyar's Birds," along with other Ukrainian military units.
Russian attacks kill 6, injure 45 across Ukraine as Kyiv faces second day of nonstop strikes
Russian forces attacked Ukraine overnight on Sept. 26 with 173 Shahed-type drones, 50 of which were jet-powered, the Air Force said.

About Crimea
Russia invaded Ukraine's Crimean Peninsula in February 2014 amid the deadliest days of the EuroMaidan Revolution. Around 30,000 Russian troops crossed into Crimea, taking hold of the peninsula by early March 2014. Russia has continued to occupy Crimea ever since. Crimea covers an area of around 27,000 square kilometers (10,400 square miles), roughly the same size as the U.S. state of Massachusetts.
