According to Ukraine's military, Russian forces continue to focus on the Soledar and Bakhmut directions in Donetsk Oblast. Russia is also trying to strengthen the air defense of its rear bases and units, the General Staff reported.
Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said the city had sustained at least 10 strikes amid the attack which targeted both homes and "non-residential buildings."
