Dmitry Peskov has been the press secretary for Russian President Vladimir Putin since 2012, after serving as deputy press secretary from 2008. Born on October 17, 1967, Peskov serves as the Kremlin's primary spokesperson, regularly delivering official statements justifying Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and spreading government narratives to domestic and international media.
