Ex-Kyiv mayor suspected of calling for recognition of Kremlin’s proxies in Donbas

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, Leonid Chernovetskyi, who served as the mayor of Kyiv from 2006-2010, published a post on Facebook on Feb. 25 calling for the recognition of the borders of the Russian-occupied territories in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts. The ex-official faces up to five years in prison.
