Amnesty International: Russia conducts ‘indiscriminate attacks’ on Kharkiv.

A report published by the NGO on June 13 details the use of missiles and widely banned cluster munitions by Russia in Kharkiv, resulting in mass destruction and civilian death. The report stated that it is critical that “all perpetrators are brought to justice.”

Russia failed to break Ukraine’s army on the battlefield, and now it’s trying to do it through a peace plan that would cap Ukraine’s forces at 600,000. Some argue that Ukraine would shrink its army — currently estimated at about 800,000 — after the war anyway.
