Explosions reported in Russian-occupied resort town of Kyrylivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast

According to Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov, Russia had pulled military equipment out of nearby occupied Melitopol to the town on the Sea of Azov, fearing a strike by Ukrainian forces. Earlier on Aug. 17, explosions allegedly took place near a Russian command center in central Melitopol.
