Pavel “Volat,” a commanding officer of the Belarusian Battalion of Kastuś Kalinoŭski, was killed during the liberation of a Ukrainian village, the battalion announced on May 16. According to Belarus media Nasha Niva, this is the sixth Belarusian soldier who has been killed by Russia's war in Ukraine.
