Explosions reported in Cherkasy Oblast during nationwide air raid alert

Ukraine relies on Starlink to operate its mid-strike drones in Russian-occupied Ukraine. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said that only the U.S. president has the right to determine speed and usage restrictions for Starlink military systems.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said that an unknown person killed five service members of Ukraine's armed forces in Kharkiv Oblast on Oct. 13

"It's painful when President Trump chooses one ‌side, not our ⁠side," Zelensky said in an interview with British host Piers Morgan.

The SBU reported that the terminals were intended to support the planning of Russian military operations in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. Ukrainian security officers say they prevented the devices from being activated.

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham also said he would strive to "repair bridges" between Ukraine and the U.S.
