Ukraine resumes rail service from Kharkiv to recently liberated Balakliia

Ukrainian Railways, or Ukrzaliznytsia, announced on Sept. 14 that rail service between Kharkiv and Balakliia in Kharkiv Oblast will resume on Sept. 15. Railway workers reportedly worked promptly to repair bridges and dozens of damaged tracks. Balakliia was liberated on Sept. 8 during Ukraine's swift counteroffensive in the oblast.
