Austria’s Foreign Minister opposes Ukraine’s EU membership.

Austria’s Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said that Ukraine should not receive candidate status in June, calling instead for a “different way," according to Heute news agency. Schallenberg reportedly said that countries in the Western Balkans had come a long way and that other means of EU-Ukraine rapprochement might be preferable.
