Oleksii Chernyshov is Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity, a position he assumed in December 2024. Born on September 4, 1977, Chernyshov previously served as CEO of Naftogaz Group from 2022 to 2024, Minister for Communities and Territories Development from 2020 to 2022, and Kyiv Region Governor from 2019 to 2020. In June 2025, he became the first sitting Ukrainian deputy prime minister to face corruption charges in a land grab case.
