Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s Office reported on Sept. 17 that it has recorded 34,441 war crimes committed by the Russian military since the start of the full-scale invasion on Feb. 24. Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have also recorded 15,807 crimes against Ukraine’s national security.
The number includes 810 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.

The claim appears to conflict with President Volodymyr Zelensky's earlier statement that Kyiv agreed to Washington's request for assistance in protecting U.S. military bases in Jordan.
"The Trump administration cannot simultaneously claim to be prioritizing U.S. military operations while offering sanctions relief to (Russian President Vladimir) Putin," the letter reads.
The EU-sanctioned tanker Sea Owl I was boarded near Trelleborg, the Swedish Coast Guard said.
