Mayor of Chernihiv estimates over half of the population has left since start of the war.

Vladyslav Atroshenko said in an interview with LB.ua news website on March 22, that there are approximately 130,000 people remaining in the city. Before the all-out war, that number was close to 285,000. He said that Chernihiv is now dealing with a shortage of doctors and those qualified to repair critical infrastructure.
