Internal ministry: Complete demining of Ukraine can take 5-10 years

The ministry's spokesperson Alona Matvieieva said pyrotechnic units have already demined over 2 million hectares of Ukrainian territory. About 30 million hectares still need demining, she said, adding that the coastal waters of the Azov and Black Seas are also contaminated with mines, and the area in need of demining can be up to 19,000 square kilometers.
