Russian forces attack 2 communities in Sumy Oblast

Russian troops shelled two communities in Sumy Oblast on March 26, the Sumy Oblast military administration reported.

According to officials, Russian troops attacked the communities of Esman and Bilopillia.

Russia used artillery and grenade launchers to target the region.

No casualties or damages were reported.

Sumy Oblast, which borders Russia in the northeast, has been under daily Russian shelling since the Ukrainian army liberated it in April 2022.

According to the report, Russia attacked 132 settlements across eight regions – Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Luhansk oblasts.
