The report comes as the Russian-installed energy operator Krymenergo said on July 27 that power restrictions are in effect across Crimea, citing a "difficult" situation in the northwest, east, and south of the peninsula, following Ukrainian strikes.

Ukrainian drones struck neighboring Belgorod and cities in southern Russia overnight on July 27, monitoring channels and authorities reported.

A civilian cargo ship sank on July 26 in the Black Sea near Odesa after being struck by Russian missiles days earlier on July 19 while it was transporting grain, authorities reported.
