Governor: Russia likely to intensify shelling of Luhansk Oblast on May 9.

Luhansk Oblast Governor Serhiy Gaidai said the plans are part of Russia's "scorched earth" strategy to squeeze out a win by Victory Day, celebrated every year in Moscow. Gaidai says Russian forces will use heavy equipment, including artillery and multiple launch rocket systems to try to destroy "everything in their way."
