General Staff: Russia has lost 278,130 troops since Feb. 24, 2022

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported on Sept. 30 that Russia had lost 278,130 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24 last year.

This number includes 470 casualties Russian forces suffered just over the past day.

According to the report, Russia has also lost 4,691 tanks, 8,984 armored vehicles, 6,447 artillery systems, 796 MLRS, 537 air defense systems, 315 planes and 316 helicopters.
