The Ukrainian Operational Command South reported using Bayraktar drones to destroy two Russian Raptor-class patrol boats, while significantly damaging another one in the area of the Russian-occupied Snake Island. Earlier on May 7, the Defense Ministry reported that Ukraine's forces hit a Russian landing craft and destroyed the Tor missile system in the same area.

According to the president, the negotiations would be hosted by the U.S. and will take place on Feb. 17 and Feb. 18. The talks, however, depend on Russia's agreement to take part, something that Ukraine and the U.S. have not yet received.
