German Prosecutor General Jens Rommel has filed charges against Ukrainian veteran Serhii Kuznietsov, marking the first time a suspect in the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline bombing has been formally charged.

Kyiv Independent journalists reported loud explosions and air defense activity in the capital, just hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia was preparing another large-scale attack against Ukraine.

"For the first time, a clear procedure has been established that sets uniform rules for the state, manufacturers, and partners," Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said in a post on Telegram.

Zelensky said Russia is preparing a new mass strike against Ukraine as attacks across several regions killed at least six people and injured more than 100.

"We must keep moving forward. We count on it, moving forward without losing time," Zelensky said.

President Volodymyr Zelensky would get 32%, while Zaluzhnyi would be the runner-up with 16%, and Zelensky's Chief of Staff Kyrylo Budanov would come third with 11%, according to the survey.

Ukraine argued in a letter to the International Maritime Organization that Russia's shadow fleet may no longer qualify as ordinary civilian shipping, citing its role in financing Moscow's war effort.

Kyiv's recent initiatives to commemorate 20th century Ukrainian nationalists, including the Ukrainian National Pantheon, have contributed to the ongoing escalation in its tensions with Poland.

"The operator of the enemy drone clearly saw that it was civilian transport carrying people on their way to work. But this terrorist deliberately chose to strike," Prokudin said.

"Crimea has essentially turned into a military base for the Russians, allowing them to continue occupying the south of our country and transfer forces to the east. Therefore, from both a military and logistical perspective, it is an important target for us," Fedorov said.
