Russian forces took 34 children from the Preobrazhenka village in the Myrne community to Russia’s Anapa, Kherson Oblast Governor Yaroslav Yanushevych said, citingValentyna Holovata, the head of the Myrne community military administration.
“The parents were promised that their children would be returned by the end of this week, but then the time of stay was extended again for another week,” Yanushevych said in a Telegram post on Nov. 5.
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 188 drones and various missiles, according to Ukraine's air force.
"Such a massive and combined attack has occurred for the first time since the end of the last heating season," Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi said.
Four people were attempting to leave the town when they stepped on a mine and were injured, while a man collecting nuts was killed by another mine, the local military administration said.

According to Vyriy, the new Slavic drone has a tactical operating range of up to 30 kilometers, approximately twice that of a Chinese-made Mavic.

Russia told NATO it would be ready to use nuclear weapons if alliance members attempt to isolate Kaliningrad Oblast, NATO spokesperson Allison Hart told the Kyiv Independent Sept. 30.
