EU extends sanctions against 1,206 individuals, 108 entities due to Russia's war

The European Council said sanctions against those “responsible for undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine” have been extended for six months until March 15, 2023. Sanctions include travel restrictions, asset freezes, and economic sanctions.
