President Volodymyr Zelensky said more than 100 people have been evacuated from Mariupol's Azovstal on May 1, and that they would arrive in Zaporizhzhia on the morning of May 2. According to Ukraine’s estimates, around 1,000 civilians, mostly women and children, are still trapped at Azovstal steel mill.
