Zelensky appoints governor of Chernivtsi Oblast.

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Ruslan Zaparaniuk, head of the local branch of a state-owned bank, the governor of Chernivtsi Oblast. He replaces Serhii Osachuk, who served as the governor for 2.5 years and was fired in June after his deputy had been implicated in embezzlement of humanitarian aid.
