Ukrainian officials requested during negotiations that NATO countries begin training Ukrainian Air Force pilots to use Western-style weapons now, in the event these weapons become part of future military aid packages, Ukrainska Pravda reports, citing its sources among Ukrainian officials who were part of negotiations.
