Ukrainian forces downed 249 out of the 272 drones, including Shahed-type attack drones, launched by Russia overnight, the Air Force reported.

Ukraine's military reportedly carried out large-scale attacks on various Russian regions overnight on June 6, striking multiple targets, including the historic port city of Kronstadt near St. Petersburg.

The number includes 1,380 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.

The targeted vessels included one near the city of Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, two near Yalta in Donetsk Oblast, and two near Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast.
