Germany considers missile defense system in response to Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In an interview with ARD broadcaster on March 27, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that “we need to be aware that we have a neighbour who is prepared to use violence to enforce their interests.” Scholz did not specify which system Germany intends to purchase, but Germany has earmarked $110 billion to beef up its military.
