According to a recent intelligence update by the U.K. Defense Ministry, Ukraine's military conducted attacks against Russia's garrison on the Snake Island in the past few weeks using missile and drone strikes. Ukraine also used anti-ship missiles to interdict Russian vessels attempting to resupply the garrison.
The railway operator initially reported that the passenger train's driver suffered a leg injury and four passengers required medical attention. The crew of the electric locomotive was unharmed.

At 10:00 a.m. local time, Ukraine’s biggest private energy firm DTEK announced emergency energy shutdowns in Brovary, Buchanskyi, Vyshgorod, and Boryspil districts of the capital.
