General Staff: Russia lost 25,100 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24.

These are the indicative estimates of Russia’s combat losses as of May 7, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported on May 7 that Russia has also lost 1,122 tanks, 2,713 armored personnel carriers, 1,934 vehicles and fuel tanks, 509 artillery systems, 172 multiple launch rocket systems, 84 anti-aircraft defense systems, 155 helicopters, 199 aircraft, 341 UAVs, and 11 boats.

In an interview with ABC News on Aug. 24, former CIA Director and retired U.S. Army General David Petraeus cast doubt on both the likelihood of a meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and on Putin's willingness to negotiate in good faith.
