China's Xi agrees with Macron on urgency of ceasefire in Ukraine.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping "agreed on the urgency of a ceasefire" in Ukraine during a call with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, the Élysée Palace said in a statement. "The two Heads of State reiterated their commitment to respecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and agreed on the urgency of reaching a ceasefire," the statement reads.
