The Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada discussed reports of smuggling and schemes that disguise goods as humanitarian aid, as well as the Customs Office's alleged inability to speedily pass confiscated goods to the Ukrainian military. As a result, the committee recommended "making staff changes," likely meaning firing the head of the Customs Office.
