President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his speech that he will stay in the capital city of Kyiv and that his family is also in Ukraine. “The fate of our country depends on our military and people,” he said.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the airport in Hostomel is now “completely under the control” of the Ukrainian military after heavy fighting on Feb. 24.
The Board of the National Bank of Poland has decided to provide the National Bank of Ukraine with $950 million in a currency swap, Ukraine’s NBU press service reported. "Relevant funds will increase Ukraine's international reserves. The National Bank of Ukraine is grateful to its colleagues for their support and trust," the NBU said.
