US to provide $500 million budgetary assistance to Ukraine.

U.S. President Joe Biden announced on April 21 an accelerated program to allow Ukrainian refugees into the United States and $500 million in direct economic aid to the Ukrainian government. Earlier, Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko said that Ukraine’s state budget deficit would likely increase from $2.7 billion in March to $5-7 billion in April and May.
