Russian proxies claim North Korea recognizes Russian-occupied Donetsk

Denis Pushilin, leader of the Kremlin's proxies in the Donetsk region, said North Korea, following Russia and Syria, recognized the occupied Ukrainian region as an "independent state." North Korea itself has not yet confirmed the fact of recognition, BBC reports.
