The upcoming summit, scheduled for July 7 and 8, is expected to test NATO's unity amid major rifts between the U.S. and other allies.

The news comes after Kyiv dismissed a proposal by Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko to meet President Volodymyr Zelensky amid surging tensions between Ukraine and the Belarusian regime.

The ministers agreed to hold a second round of consultations regarding Ukraine's Hungarian minority next week.

The Ukrainian military has not commented on the Russian claims on the strike as of the publication time.

The initiative comes as Russia expands a broader recruitment campaign targeting students for its newly created drone units amid mounting battlefield losses in Ukraine.
