Russia has lost 1,001,560 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, 2022, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported on June 13.
The number includes 1,220 casualties that Russian forces suffered just over the past day.
According to the report, Russia has also lost 10,934 tanks, 22,791 armored fighting vehicles, 51,821 vehicles and fuel tanks, 29,105 artillery systems, 1,416 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,184 air defense systems, 416 airplanes, 337 helicopters, 40,507 drones, 3,337 cruise missiles, 28 ships and boats, and one submarine.

With Russia continuing to wage an unprecedented campaign against Ukrainian businesses, Ukraine’s Economy Ministry has downgraded its forecast for the country’s economic growth this year from 1.3% to 0.5%, as Moscow targets key industries such as steel production, e-commerce, and ports.
"Just days ago, the President of Moldova was with us in Ukraine on our Independence Day. Today, Ukraine stands with Moldova on its Independence Day. Friends should stand shoulder to shoulder," Zelensky said.
The sounds of explosions, air defense fire, and jet-powered drones filled the air in Kyiv on Aug. 27, as an hours-long aerial barrage once again targeted Ukraine's capital.

Transcripts included in the prosecutors' motions in the case explicitly state that Zelensky's Chief of Staff Kyrylo Budanov took part in the conversations, Hromadske reported.

"Denmark is speaking with two voices," Alexander Kirk, sanctions campaigner at Urgewald, said in a statement shared with the Kyiv Independent. He added that the "Danish government cannot condemn Fayard's actions on one day and promote it under the Danish flag the next."
