Trump was questioned about the reports shortly after President Volodymyr Zelensky said on July 25 that Moscow has been providing Tehran satellite imagery of U.S. and Gulf military installations throughout the U.S. war against Iran.
The report comes as the Russian-installed energy operator Krymenergo said on July 27 that power restrictions are in effect across Crimea, citing a "difficult" situation in the northwest, east, and south of the peninsula, following Ukrainian strikes.
Specifically, the NABU charged Oleksandr Bankov, who served as the ministry’s state secretary from 2020 to 2024, and a former head of Bankov’s office who currently serves as a diplomat.
The event took place on July 24 just outside Kyiv and was being attended by members of the Ukrainian defense industry when it was hit.
The stretch of road, part of the pan-European E40 highway, is also one of the two main logistics routes from Kyiv to front-line areas in eastern Ukraine.

A civilian cargo ship sank on July 26 in the Black Sea near Odesa after being struck by Russian missiles days earlier on July 19 while it was transporting grain, authorities reported.
