Journalists forbidden from entering Irpin after Russians kill US reporter on March 13.

Irpin Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn said the measure was put in place to protect journalists and Ukrainian soldiers alike. The ban was put in place after Russian invaders killed U.S. journalist Brent Renaud and wounded his colleague Juan Arredondo on March 13 in Irpin, the satellite city outside of Kyiv.
