Russian forces attacked Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast two times on Aug. 3, using heavy artillery, Governor Serhii Lysak said on Telegram.
The shelling damaged a local utility company, Lysak said.
No civilians were injured in the attacks.
Nikopol lies across the Dnipro River from the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The plant is controlled by occupying Russian troops, who subject the residents of Nikopol to regular shelling.
Governor Lysak wished a calm evening to the citizens of Ukraine, and "a hellishly hot" one for the occupiers.

The overnight drone attack comes shortly after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened to impose new tariffs on Russia within 10 days unless the Kremlin agrees to halt its full-scale war against Ukraine.
"The training process must be moved underground as much as possible. We must respond to air raid alerts and enemy drones immediately," Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said.
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has once again failed to appoint anti-corruption investigator Oleksandr Tsyvinsky as director of the Bureau of Economic Security, lawmaker Yaroslav Zhelezniak said.
