Russian top official says Russia is in Kherson 'forever.'

"There will be no return to the past," Andrey Turchak, Russian senator and one of the leaders of the United Russia governing party, said on May 6. Russia has blocked all humanitarian assistance, cut off cash deliveries to Kherson's banks, replaced Ukrainian TV with Russian state channels and imposed a strict curfew since it took control of Kherson.
