Russia proposes new surrender ultimatum to Ukrainian forces in Mariupol.

Russia's defense ministry said not a single Ukrainian soldier laid down their weapons after an earlier ultimatum, prompting Russia to renew its surrender demands. "Russia's armed forces, based purely on humanitarian principles, again propose that the fighters of nationalist battalions and foreign mercenaries cease their military operations from 2 p.m. Moscow time on April 20 and lay down arms," the Russian Defense Ministry said.
