The Ukrainian Operational Command South reports that it has swapped four Russian soldiers for five Ukrainians. As a result of multiple battles in southern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, Russia lost 39 soldiers and four vehicles. These are estimates of Russia’s combat losses, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Zelensky accused Moscow of obstructing the repair of the power lines through continued shelling: "And this is a threat to absolutely everyone. No terrorist in the world has ever dared to do to a nuclear plant what Russia is doing right now."
A fire broke out early on Oct. 1 at a Russian oil refinery in northwestern Yaroslavl Oblast, local authorities reported, calling it a "man-made" incident not connected to any attacks.

The P-8, designed for anti-submarine warfare, surface surveillance, and intelligence gathering, was photographed at Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport on Sept. 23.

According to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Serhii Lysak, 28 people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl.
The evacuation, carried out Sept. 29-30 in coordination with Ukraine's military intelligence, included 48 Ukrainian citizens, as well as nine Palestinian nationals.
