Russian forces launched 65 Shahed-type drones and decoys from Russia’s Bryansk, Orel, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, and Russian-occupied Crimea, at Ukraine overnight, according to Ukraine's Air Force.

An unidentified drone was observed flying over the Equinor-operated Sleipner gas field in the North Sea on the evening of Sept. 29, according to Norwegian police, as reported by local media outlet VG.

"During the war, this technology is of critical importance — to keep hospitals, schools, critical infrastructure, and front-line regions connected," Ukraine's Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said.

The number includes 970 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.

The attack killed a married couple and their two sons, ages 6 and 4, in the Krasnopillia community near the Sumy Oblast border.

Ukraine is planning both a "Mega Deal" — a major agreement on the purchase of American weapons — and a "Drone Deal," to sell Ukrainian unmanned systems to the U.S., Zelensky said.

"We will be eager to hear his thoughts on state sovereignty and independence once he has broken free from his dependence on Russian energy, as U.S. President Donald Trump and European partners insisted multiple times," Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said.

Russia holds conscription drives twice a year, spring and fall. This autumn’s draft will run from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
