Italian PM: Italy wants Ukraine to join the European Union

In his response to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address to the Italian parliament on March 22, Prime Minister Mario Draghi said that joining the EU is a long process made up of necessary reforms, adding that Italy is “alongside Ukraine in this process,” Italian media outlet Ansa reports. “Italy wants Ukraine to join European Union,” Draghi said.
