President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Flamingo had undergone successful tests, describing it as "the most successful" missile Ukraine currently has.

Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) struck a Russian patrol boat in the Black Sea near the occupied town of Zaliznyi Port in Kherson Oblast, killing five crew members, HUR reported on Aug. 21.

The number includes 830 casualties that Russian forces suffered over the past day.

"There’s the dawning reality that this will be Europe making this happen on the ground... The U.S. is not fully committed to anything," an unnamed NATO diplomat said.

The attack allegedly hit the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery, which has previously been targeted in Ukrainian drone strikes.
