NORAD: Russian surveillance aircraft entered Alaska’s air defense zone twice

The Russian aircraft entered and operated in the Alaskan air defense identification zone (ADIZ) twice from Aug. 8 to Aug. 9, the North American Aerospace Defense Command reported on Twitter. The surveillance aircraft did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace.
