Two UK citizens, Sean Pinner and Andrew Hill, and the citizen of Morocco Saadoun Brahim were sentenced to death on June 9 by the Russian-installed court in the occupied Donetsk, Russian state-controlled media RIA Novosti reported. They can appeal the decision within a month, according to the media.
The meeting is part of ongoing diplomatic negotiations in Washington's latest push to secure a peace deal. A Russian team is also expected to meet with U.S. delegates again on Dec. 21.
