German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that weapons that are already familiar to Ukrainian soldiers should be supplied and his government will work with manufacturers to make it possible. Scholz said he agrees that "Russia may not win this war,” and his government will help Ukraine obtain anti-tank and air defense weapons.
Dombrovskis reminded that the EU’s Ukraine Support Loan is structured so that Ukraine only repays if Russia pays Ukraine reparations. “(This), of course, invites a question: what happens if Russia does not pay reparations?” he said.
